Donations

Donations to The Alfred are used in a variety ways, including helping to purchase medical equipment and funding medical research. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation (over $2), please click here.

Some of our donors are past patients or related to a past patient of The Alfred, and would like their money to go to a specific unit they spent time in. Please feel free to discuss this with one of our staff members.

Similarly, if you would like to discuss the purchase of a specific piece of equipment, The Alfred Foundation is able to liaise with hospital staff to find a piece that will suit you donation amount. Please call us on 03 9076 3222 to discuss your options.

If you would like to make a regular, ongoing payment, we can take away the hassle of making constant phone calls. We have a direct debit system that can be set up to bill your account monthly, and we only ask that your contribution for the month be over $5.

We welcome donations made online, over the phone, in person or through the mail. One of these options may suit you:

• Credit card payment online - donate now using our on-line payment system;
• Donate by phone - we accept Visa, AMEX, Diners and Mastercard. Please call 03 9076 3222 during business hours;
• Cheque or money order - to: The Alfred Foundation, PO Box 2021, Prahran, Vic 3181. Please make your cheque or money order payable to The Alfred Foundation; or
• In person - please visit us at The Alfred on the ground floor (next to Pathology). Please speak to The Alfred's friendly staff at the front information desk for specific directions.
