1999 Consumers involved in the redesign of Cystic Fibrosis Unit at The Alfred
2000 HIV/AIDS community involved in development of Fairfield House at The Alfred
2000 Community Advisory Committee of the Bayside Health Board is established with community members joining the Committee in May 2001
2002 Caulfield General Medical Centre involves patients in plans to redevelop rehabilitation facilities
2003 67 services and wards across Bayside Health undertake a self-assessment of consumer and community participation in their respective areas to identify levels of participation and barriers to participation
2003 Caulfield General Medical Centre holds two open forums inviting feedback from the patients and carers about services provided
2003 Sandringham Hospital establishes a Consumer Reference Group
2004 The Alfred Centre Community Participation Panel is established to imbed the opinions and views of community and consumers in strategies to improve consumer access to short stay elective procedures and services such as radiology (x-ray)
