The Alfred's Secondary Student Work Experience Program 2013
The Alfred school work experience program provides students with an opportunity to gain insight into the health care industry.
The program is offered to students undertaking years 10-12. Students participating in the program are given an opportunity to spend one week working within available departments to observe and participate in the daily activities of those departments.
The department's that participate in our Work Experience program include:-
Please note will are unable to take placement students in the following areas: Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Operating Suites and Procedural Suites, including all Theatres and Procedural Rooms, Dental, Alfred Pathology Services and Patient and Family Services.
The program at The Alfred is very popular with students. This year we received over 500 applications!
How to apply?
The formal application process will involve completing an online application form. Our online process allows students to have a greater understanding of the process involved when job seekers apply for positions within our hospital.

TopCaulfield Hospital's Secondary Student Work Experience Program 2013
The Caulfield Hospital Secondary School Student Work Experience program provides students with an opportunity to gain an understanding and awareness of the role our Allied Health Departments have in making a difference to the lives of patients.
This program is offered to students undertaking years 10-12. Students participating in the program are given the opportunity to spend one week working in a variety of available Allied Health Departments to observe and participate in daily activities.

TopSandringham Hospital's Secondary Student Work Experience Program 2013
Sandringham Hospital is a community hospital with a strong focus on meeting the health care needs of its local community.
The Sandringham Secondary School Student Work Experience program provides students with an opportunity to gain an understanding and awareness across the hospital including the role the hospital has in the delivery of elective surgery, general medical, Allied Health, women's health and maternity services.
This program is offered to students undertaking years 10-12. Students participating in the program are given the opportunity to spend one week working in a variety of departments at Sandringham Hospital to observe in daily activities.
